How to register for unsupervised roped climbing

Adults

Complete the Rope Skills Essentials course, then register if you feel confident. If unsure, get in touch with our reception team.

Under 18s

You'll need a Junior Assessment with a floor walker within two weeks of your course (~15 mins) covering safety checks and belaying. Contact us to book.

Under 18s cannot bring guests or supervise other climbers.

We recommend Under 18s join our NICAS courses instead — younger climbers typically need more than two sessions before passing assessment.
